I once got a Wintersun album with a 3 inches of blood track on it. I always wondered why it sounded so different on the second track, until I bought the Wintersun album when it was released.....to realize.....it wasnt even the band. Why do people do this? Bastards! They've switched singers on each of their first two albums, seems that the majority hated the guy from Second Strike (although I thought it had a pretty good unique feel to it) so we'll see how this goes. The band itself has always done some great riffs and folkish melodies throughout it's career, so ... Their 'single' "Tears of Autumn Rain" was good, usually the 3rd track of every album they make sounds almost the same, or similar. Don't get me wrong, I like this band, or infact, love this band...but they seem to have gone toward a more generic sound. Their last album 'Before the Bleeding Sun' showed that they could do a great job on a symphonic level, not just melodic...but this album just doesn't have any outstandish tracks ...
